Denholm Offshore has just completed a contract off the west coast of Denmark, installing 5km of fibre optic cable in shallow water from the beach to a point where the water depth allowed access for a full size cable vessel.

Initially, the timescale of the project did not allow for simultaneous lay and burial. We therefore laid the cable first and returned to the site later to bury it.

This contract was fulfilled with a mix of Denholm Offshore expertise, the local sourcing of various hardware and assistance from other copmanies within the Denholm Group.

The project has now been completed to the satisfaction of our client, Tyco Telecommunications.
